Privacy Policy

Short version

imgzly is built so image processing happens in your browser. When you use tools such as compress, resize, convert, crop, metadata removal, OCR, image to PDF, or background removal, the files you choose are handled locally on your device by browser code. We do not require an account, and the app is not designed to upload your images to an imgzly server for processing.

Information you provide

You may choose images or other local files while using imgzly tools. Those files are used by the tool running in your browser so it can produce the output you requested. The original files stay on your device unless you separately upload or share them somewhere else.

Some tools may create temporary browser URLs, previews, text output, PDFs, ZIP files, or processed image downloads. These are generated locally for the current workflow and are not an account record because imgzly does not provide accounts.

Browser storage

imgzly may use browser storage such as IndexedDB, local storage, caches, or service worker caches to keep the app responsive, remember practical settings, cache app assets, or store on-device model files used by browser-only features. This storage stays in your browser and can be cleared from your browser settings.

Analytics and ads

We use privacy-conscious product analytics and site measurement tools to understand whether the site works, which tools are useful, and where errors happen. These tools can collect technical information such as page views, device and browser details, approximate location derived from network information, referrers, interaction events, and performance data.

imgzly may also load advertising scripts on production pages. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

What we do not do

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not sell your uploaded images because there is no upload flow for normal image processing.
• We do not intentionally send your selected image files to an imgzly server for compression, resizing, conversion, cropping, metadata removal, OCR, PDF creation, or background removal.
• We do not modify your original files on disk. Processed files are exported as new downloads.

Third-party services

The site may use third-party services for analytics, advertising, performance, security, hosting, package delivery, fonts, or browser capabilities. Those services may process technical information according to their own privacy policies. Your browser may contact these services when scripts, assets, analytics, ads, or other web resources load.

Security

Browser-only processing reduces the need to transfer files, but no web app can make every workflow risk-free. Use care with sensitive documents, review downloads before sharing them, and keep your browser updated.

Children

imgzly is a general-purpose image utility and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through related services, contact us so we can review it.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
